Kirobo has invented the world’s first cryptocurrency retrievable transfer service. The Undo Button allows you to make cryptocurrency transfers with complete safety – so no more worrying about sending your crypto to the wrong address. In this article, we’ll explain why this solution was so sorely needed, and how easy it is to use!

With great power comes great responsibility

Have you ever wondered why so many people are passionate about cryptocurrency?

The answer is that it’s more than just a new form of money. Crypto is a promise of freedom from the financial institutions that control every aspect of the world economy, and that bring the world economy down with them when they fail. It’s not for nothing that the Bitcoin genesis block contained the words “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.”

But with freedom comes responsibility, and complete financial freedom means complete responsibility over your finances. With crypto, ownership is ten tenths of the law – the owner of the private key is the owner of the asset. There’s no other legal protection.

So, if you were to send cryptocurrency to the wrong address, who’s there to save you? The answer is nobody.

When you take this fact and combine it with how long and unrecognizable crypto wallet addresses are, you’ve got a recipe for disaster. The reality is that you have to copy-paste an address into the destination bar, and it’s difficult to detect when it’s not exactly the same as what you intended to send.

So, you could send it to the wrong person, and hope they’re nice enough to send it back (and good luck with that). You could send it ‘to contract’ – meaning sending it to the address of a smart contract that isn’t designed to release money, so it’ll be inaccessible forever. Or, you could be the victim of a phishing attack, causing you to send to an imposter’s address.

The unbelievable thing is that there aren’t (or weren’t) any solutions to this. Some centralized entities provide limited insurance for stolen crypto, but that’s only for crypto stored with them. There are also wallet recovery services, which are also far from complete. But for sending money to the wrong place? Nothing.

Well, there is now.

With Kirobo technology, you can effectively prevent this from ever happening. The Undo Button retrieval transfer platform is easy to use, non-custodial, and the best thing – it doesn’t cost you anything!

So how does it work?

Getting started

First, you’ll need to get to our website and click on this button:

Try Undo Button

That’ll take you through to our beautiful Undo Button interface. Next, you’ll need to click here:

Any wallet that uses ERC-20 tokens will work, although they do need to have the connect wallet function.

The next part of the process isn’t much different to regular cryptocurrency transfers. You select how much you want to transfer and enter the destination:

Take note of that ‘Safe Max’ option. It will enter the maximum amount that you can send. Note that it won’t be all of your crypto, because some has to be left behind to pay the gas fee on the transfer as well as the possible recall (we’ll get to that soon).

And now for the magic ingredient

The twist in this platform is that you won’t be able to proceed with your transaction until you’ve created a passcode and given it to the recipient. Because unless they enter the correct passcode, there will be no transfer.

You can’t share the password through our system – it has to be via an external line of communication, like a text message, morse code, phone call, email, and so on.

After that, you just wait for the recipient to enter the passcode on their end, and the transaction will be completed. They’ll see this:

And then this:

And then they enter the password here:

Couldn’t be simpler!

How to retrieve your transfer

Now, before your recipient enters the password and collects the transfer, you’ll see this button next to the pending transfer on your end:

This is our famous Undo Button. There’s nothing else like it in the world! As long as the recipient hasn’t entered the passcode, you can click on this and your transaction will be cancelled, and the money returned to your wallet, no problem.

But what if someone intercepts the passcode?

Our system is too clever for that. Behind the scenes, there’s more going on than just the passcode you see. When you create it, the system combines it with additional data that’s unique to your device and the destination. That means that the transaction will only work if the correct recipient enters the correct passcode.

Ok, but what if your system goes down while I’m waiting for the recipient to accept?

That doesn’t matter. Our system is completely non-custodial, which means we don’t hold your money. Even under the worst possible circumstance – say, Kirobo was hacked, or our servers were to go down – you can still retrieve your money.

There must be a catch though – how much does it cost?

We don’t charge people to use our service. You pay the regular Ethereum gas fees, but that’s it. The reason for this is that our goals are long-term. We want to encourage adoption of crypto, because we believe that when that happens, everyone will benefit.

DeFi is the key to the revolution

Cryptocurrency is meant to be used – that’s what it was designed for. But it’s not being used enough, and that’s not ok. With the Undo Button, we’ve effectively neutralized one of the main concerns preventing people from interacting with their digital assets.
