How to use Kirobo Safe Transfer - step-by-step

Sending crypto transfers is a stressful experience. It’s too easy to make a mistake – such as pasting the wrong address – and if this happens, there’s little recourse. Kirobo Safe Transfer is a solution to this, making it almost impossible to send funds to the wrong place, and allowing you to use your crypto with confidence.

But how does it work?

First, go to undo.kirobo.me and connect your wallet. Next, fill out the details you’d usually need for a transfer – destination address, token type, and amount. There’s also a safe max button that will automatically enter the maximum amount that you can send (taking gas fees into consideration).

Next, create a password. This protects your transfer; the recipient must enter it on their end in order to collect the funds. You have to communicate the password to the recipient via a separate channel – we recommend doing this only after they’ve confirmed receiving the transaction notification.

You can use the message field to attach a note to each transaction, which helps with your bookkeeping.

When this is all done, click on SAFE TRANSFER, confirm in your wallet, and the money is sent.

The recipient will receive a notification, and when they click on IN TRANSIT they’ll see a COLLECT option.

Click on that, and…

They’ll be invited to enter the password. Once they do that, they’ll be able to collect the funds.

How to undo a transaction

After sending a transaction, the IN TRANSIT page will show a pending transaction, with an UNDO button next to it. If you click on that, the transfer will be canceled and the funds received.

Anyone can perform two transactions a month on Safe Transfer for free. However, if you hold KIRO in your wallet, you’ll be able to take advantage of the perks of our various plans.

Amongst other things, the business plan entitles you to a password generator:

And an address book where you can add trusted recipients, saving you the effort of entering their addresses every time you send a transaction.

It’s important to bear in mind that Safe Transfer is non-custodial. This means that we don’t hold your money at any time, and even if Kirobo were to have downtime, it wouldn’t affect your ability to undo and retrieve a transaction.

So what are you waiting for? Try Safe Transfer today, and start using your crypto safely.
